Presenter InformationThe 2008 IB North America Annual Regional Conference will attract over 1,000 members of the worldwide IB community to the San Francisco Bay area. There will be nearly 100 breakout sessions offered during the four days we will be together. Sessions may include presentations of conceptual models, professional applications, scholarly analyses, skill-building programs, and case studies. Deadlines:17 March 2008 - Deadline for Submission of Completed Presentation Proposals Proposal GuidelinesIndividuals may not submit or appear on more than two proposals, either as a primary or secondary presenter. In addition, the same school or institutional affiliation may not appear on more than two proposals. Panel sessions are limited to one primary presenter and three secondary presenters (i.e., panelists). It is the primary presenter’s responsibility to communicate all official conference correspondence in a timely manner to all secondary presenters. Please be sure to have a commitment from all secondary presenters before listing them on a panel session proposal. Since specific session times have not been determined, you must be available to present anytime between Friday, 18 July and Sunday, 20 July 2008 if you submit a proposal. All sessions are 75 minutes in length. Payment and Reimbursement of PresentersThe IB North America Annual Regional Conference provides a voluntary professional development opportunity to receive international recognition while sharing best practices with other IB educators. All session presenters are required to pay the conference registration fee. With the exception of plenary and distinguished lecture speakers, IB North America will not reimburse any expenses. Criteria for SelectionThe main criteria for selection will be the overall quality of the proposed session.
