Come join the IB Middle Years Programme Regional Manager in a presentation and conversation. This session will review changes to the Middle Years Programme that have occurred over the past year, those that are coming in the future, and offer an opportunity to ask burning questions about the programme.


Stanley Burgoyne, MYP Regional Manager, International Baccalaureate

Stan Burgoyne is the Middle Years Programme Regional Manager for International Baccalaureate North America. A graduate of the University of Maine at Orono, he continued his post-graduate work at San Francisco State University and began his teaching career in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 1996, he moved to North Carolina where he found a renewed enthusiasm for teaching at Broughton High School in Raleigh. First trained as a Diploma Programme and MYP teacher of Language A and Drama, Stan moved to the position of MYP coordinator at his school. From there he assumed the role of Senior Administrator of IB Programmes for Wake County Public Schools.
