This session will provide an overview of current developments within and across all three IB programmes. It will also be an opportunity for participants to contribute to the development of future directions through dialogue with the IB's Academic Director.


Judith Fabian, Academic Director, International Baccalaureate

Before taking the position of Head of Programme development with the IB in Cardiff in 2004, Judith Fabian taught English A1 and Theory of Knowledge in international schools in Jordan, Tanzania, and Germany. She was also principal at the International School of Tanganyika and Munich International School, overseeing the implementation of the Middle Years Programme in grades nine and ten in both schools. Prior to her work in international schools, Ms Fabian was a deputy head teacher and taught English and Drama in state schools in London. In June 2007, Judith was appointed the IB's Academic Director.
