Impact and Benefit of an IB Diploma from the Graduate's Perspective
Audience: Diploma Programme This session presents findings from a follow-up study to "Student Perceptions of the International Baccalaureate Program: A First-Year Perspective," which was completed in 2003 with students enrolled in the Diploma Programme. The new study aims to investigate how graduates perceive the impact of the Diploma Programme on their educational careers. Students were asked 50 questions measuring their perception of programme rigor, the development of written and oral skills, and critical and creative thinking skills. Responses were tabulated and compared across programme structures.
