The International Baccalaureate: Pedagogy and Intellectual Diversity

The International Baccalaureate provides a compelling structure for developing and implementing an inquiry based, formative pedagogical model. It is my belief that given the almost universal demand for "academic diversity", we are called to offer academic programs which lead to an appreciation for cultural diversity and which simultaneously provides a rigorous framework for genuinely free intellectual discourse across borders and disciplines.

Ralph Lelii, Diploma Programme Coordinator, George School
Ralph Lelii holds a B.A. and an M.A. in English Literature from Villanova University, and is certified in English in the state of Pennsylvania. He has been teaching for 25 years, and has been the IB Diploma Coordinator at the George School for the past 10 years. Ralph has led student service trips to Vietnam, India, Ramallah, South Korea and in several states. He teaches IB and AP World Literature, Theory of Knowledge and runs a desktop publishing lab. He also serves as Clerk of the Faculty at the George School.
