IB Finances and Fees: An Overview

This presentation offers an overview of IB Finances including historical, current and future perspectives providing an insight into what the key drivers are behind financial decisions, and who makes them and why. As part of the financial structure of the organization, IB income is the central component around which plans are made. Fees from schools make up over 90% of the IB’s income, and an analysis of the fee structure will be presented.

Daniel Benham, Chief Financial Officer, International Baccalaureate
Daniel joined the IB in July 2006, and assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer in September. He has 15 years of experience following qualification as a chartered accountant in the UK in 1991. He held a number of senior positions within consumer divisions of US controlled companies including: Gillette, Pfizer and Energizer. Daniel lived in the US for four years and now currently resides in Geneva, Switzerland. Prior to his commercial experiences he worked for four years as a qualified schoolteacher in the UK.
