What is the registration fee?

Participant registration is USD $750.

Can I register online?

Yes, registration for the 2008 IB North America Annual Regional Conference is only available online. Please click click here to register now.

What are accepted forms of payment for registration?

Participants may pay using credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover), check, money order, or purchase order in USD made to the order of IBNA (International Baccalaureate North America).

How long does it take to receive registration confirmation?

IB North America will confirm all registrations by e-mail within two weeks of the submitted request. Please do not purchase non-refundable airline tickets until you receive an e-mailed registration confirmation from IB North America.

Is there a registration deadline?

Yes, the conference registration deadline is 17 June 2008. ALL REGISTRATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO SPACE AVAILABILITY AND ARE ACCEPTED ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. Registrations arriving on or before the conference registration deadline are not guaranteed placement.

What is the cancellation policy?

All cancellations must be submitted in writing 30 days prior (17 June 2008) to the start date of the conference for a full refund.

What is a companion registration?

Companion registration allows for participants to bring a guest to the opening reception and closing celebration. The companion registration fee is US $175.

Do presenters have to register?

Yes, all primary and secondary presenters must register at the full conference rate. Please click here to register now. The IB North America Annual Regional Conference provides a voluntary professional development opportunity to receive international recognition while sharing best practices with other IB educators.

How and when will I find out if my proposal has been accepted?

The deadline for submission of proposals is 29 February 2008. We will notify presenters of acceptance 15 March 2008.
