If you have ever had a question that you wanted to take straight to the top, this session is for you. The senior leadership of the International Baccalaureate will field all questions, on all topics or issues. This is a wonderful opportunity to share both your concerns and your best ideas with leaders of the IB community.

Monique
Seefried, President , IB Council of Foundation
Monique Seefried completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in History, and also received her Ph.D., at the University of Paris-Sorbonne. She speaks, reads and writes English, French and Italian, has a basic conversational knowledge of Spanish and is fluent in German. Monique has worked in education for 30 years and has also been involved in the archaeological and museum world. She is the founder and was the executive director of the Center for the Advancement and Study of International Education (CASIE) from 2000 until 2004. Monique has lectured extensively on art and archaeology topics, as well as on international education. She is also very involved in civic activities and serves on many boards and board committees, including the board of Atlanta International School. In May 2003 Monique became president of the IB Council of Foundation.

Jeffrey R. Beard, Director General, International Baccalaureate

Delia Pompa, President, IB North America Board of Directors
Delia Pompa is currently Vice President of Education, at the National Council of La Raza. With over 30 years of experience in her chosen field, she is one of the nation’s foremost experts on the education of language minority students. She began her career as a teacher in San Antonio, Texas. She served as Executive Director for Bilingual Programs and Childhood Education as the Houston Independent School District; Assistant Commissioner for Program Development at the Texas Education Agency, and Director of Education, Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention, and Youth Development Initiatives at The Children’s Defense Fund in Washington, District of Columbia. In 1995, she was appointed Director of the Office of Bilingual Education and Minority Languages Affairs at the US Department of Education. She has also served as Executive Director of the National Association of Bilingual Education. She has been the President of the IB North America Board of Directors since 2006.

Bradley Richardson, Regional Director, International Baccalaureate
Bradley Richardson is the Regional Director for IB North America. Before he joined IB in 1985, Brad was an assistant professor of English at Atlantic Union College in Massachusetts. He also taught English at Loma Linda University in California, where he coordinated the university's freshman English composition program. He holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Loma Linda University.

Ralph Cline, Deputy Regional Director, International Baccalaureate
Ralph Cline has been involved in the International Baccalaureate in Florida since 1986 as: a teacher, an examiner, an administrator, a workshop leader, and a regional association president. He worked at four IB Diploma Programme schools, leading three of them through the authorization process. He began his career at IB North America in September 2001 as Associate Director of Professional Development. He then became Head of School Services and now serves as Deputy Regional Director. He earned his B.A. at Stetson University in Florida, his M.A. and Ph.D. at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
