Steve Hreha has a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Concordia University. He began his teaching career in 1974; in 1991, he became the Theory of Knowledge and Philosophy teacher in the Diploma Programme at Champlain Regional College. He has lead TOK workshops across North America and is both a consultant and site visitor for prospective schools in Canada and the US. Mr Hreha is also a coach with WIDE, a distance education program run by Harvard University, the Community Representative on the Adult Clinical Ethics Committee of the McGill University Hospital Center, and received the Association of Canadian Community Colleges Teaching Excellence Award in 1996.
