International Mindedness and Collaborative Planning: Are We There Yet?
Audience: Primary Years Programme How can schools tell if they are meeting the IB standards for international-mindedness and collaborative planning? Explore these two standards more in depth and plan with colleagues how to help move your school community to higher levels of practice. During this hands-on session, participants from all three programmes will work with one another to gain a deeper understanding of where their school is on the journey of amplifying the IB standards. New and experienced schools are equally welcome to explore, collaborate, and share their ideas. David Ogden, Consultant, .David Ogden is a school consultant from Seattle, Washington. He has guided dozens of schools and districts through fundamental organizational and programmatic changes. From 1994-97, he assisted Diploma Programme and Middle Years Programme schools when he worked as the School Services Manager at IB North America. From New York, he moved to San Francisco, where he worked for WestEd for six years. Prior to his recent move to the Pacific Northwest, he lived in Amsterdam. He continues his association with the IB by providing consulting services to the strategic directorate and volunteering for MYP and Diploma Programme site visits and evaluations. |
