Carolyn Henly has been the IB Diploma Programme Coordinator at Meadowbrook High School in Richmond, Virginia since the inception of the program in 1999. She has also taught HL Language A1, Theory of Knowledge, and SL Philosophy. Mrs Henly is a former Virginia Region I Teacher of the Year, and was the first person in Chesterfield County to earn a National Board Certification. She holds a bachelor's degree in Linguistics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master's degree in Secondary Education (Curriculum and Instruction) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
