In this interactive workshop, participants will discover how to incorporate international-mindedness into any subject area in the PYP, MYP and Diploma Programme. Using current world events, modeling of learner centered instruction, critical thinking and inquiry methods, participants will leave this session with practical ideas and resources to easily incorporate international-mindedness into their subjects and schools.

Brent McDonough, MYP and Diploma Programme Coordinator, Holy Trinity High School
Brent McDonough is the IB Diploma Programme and Middle Years Programme Coordinator at Holy Trinity High School in Edmonton, Alberta. He is also a physics teacher in the Diploma Programme, and an IB North America Workshop Leader, Authorization and Evaluation Site Visitor and consultant. He currently holds the position of Diploma Professional Development Chair for the Alberta IB regional association group.

Heather Lapper, MYP Coordinator, Glenlyon Norfolk School
Heather Lapper is the MYP Coordinator, language A and humanities teacher at Glenlyon Norfolk School in Victoria, British Columbia. She is also an online curriculum centre faculty member, a member of the Core Implementation Committee and an IB North America workshop leader, authorization and evaluation site visitor and consultant. Heather holds the position of MYP Representative for the British Columbia IB regional association.
